Pam Withers writes award-winning, best-selling outdoor sports and adventure books – which are particularly popular with boys. She is a former journalist and editor who was also an outdoor guide. She’s a three-time Ontario Library Association Red Maple Award nominee (for Stowaway, Tracker’s Canyon, and First Descent), and a Silver Nautilus Book Awards winner for First Descent.
