This is what I believe: That I am I. That my soul is a dark forest. That my known self will never be more than a little clearing in the forest. That I will never let mankind put anything over me, but that I will try always to recognize and submit to the gods in me and the gods in other men and women. There is my creed.

There is a difference between criticizing people and criticizing a people's uninformed ideals. That is, unless one defines himself or others by their ideals, then he is offended, and usually offended secretly. Because oddly enough, this person is the same person quickest to resort to dismissive name-calling, such as 'bigot' or 'zealot'. And oddly enough, he is always the one, the 'open-minded' one, who adamantly protests for, not only himself, but others not to listen to any type of scholarly theological truth inherently for the sake of his own personal, moral beliefs.

Only a mind free of impediment is capable of grasping the chaotic beauty of the world. This is our greatest asset.

Sometimes dead is better

Blame is the creed of the disempowered.

Any profession of faith…entrusts the mind and heart to a truth that cannot be proven but can be lived.

Buddhism is not a creed, it is a doubt.
