Ability, experience and books have solution for all the problems.
Before this generation lose the wisdom, one advice - read books.
I love words. Β I crave descriptions that overwhelm my imagination with vivid detail. Β I dwell on phrases that make my heart thrum. Β I cherish expressions that pierce my emotions and force the tears to spill over. Β In essence, I long for a writer's soul sealed in ink on the page.
A good book can either uplift your spirit, expand your knowledge, teach you a good thing, motivate you to do a good deed, leave a good impact for your whole life, widen your horizons, or simply be a good companion in your good days and bad days.
Reading enhances logical thinking and motivates analyzing skills. It helps one's mind to be calmer and wiser. As the body seeks air, food, and water, the mind seeks knowledge, and it would be a huge waste if we didn't raise children from a very young age how to read passionately. Young readers are young thinkers, and a child who can think is a child who can face life problems with calmer manners and quieter approach.
A person who does not read and never seeks to increase personal knowledge will always remain imprisoned by ignorance and unable to escape a cellblock of drudgery and despair.
A girl who travels will need someone that questions her, not too little, and not too much. Sheβll need someone to read her, but also really listen to her. Because sheβll want to do the same. Sheβll want a person that shares an interest but at the same time stays genuine to who they are. Not drown in a puddle of narcissism. And not drown in a lake of fascination.
